Sunset in Langdale Valley

Last light on the Langdale Pikes. The fells burning copper and red, a wide cobalt sky breaking up overhead, cloud catching rose at the edges. A few minutes of colour the whole valley waits for.

The light catches the bracken slopes the colour of embers; the cobalt above keeps everything from going soft.
